Dr. Waldron brings a diverse and dynamic background to Waldron Eyecare Wellness & Style, shaped by years of experience across multiple facets of optometric care. Her journey began at just 20 years old, balancing a full-time undergraduate education with working as a sales associate in a high-volume optical shop in New York City. She continued this dual commitment through her years as a full-time optometry student.
Following her graduation, Dr. Waldron gained extensive clinical experience in both retail and private ophthalmology settings, with a focus on retina, cataracts, and pediatric eye care. After three years of practicing in New York City, she proudly joined the United States Air Force. During her three years of service at the 1st Medical Group Hospital at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia, she worked closely with multidisciplinary medical teams, managing complex cases and even establishing and leading an acute red-eye care clinic.
After receiving an honorable discharge, Dr. Waldron continued her dedication to patient care by providing full-time optometric services to nursing home residents throughout Missouri. She later transitioned to comprehensive retail-based care in St. Louis, before relocating to Williamsburg, Virginia. There, she served as a staff optometrist in a full-service practice for 13 years.
In November 2016, Dr. Waldron launched Waldron Eyecare as an independent practice within Target Optical — an exciting milestone that laid the foundation for her next major step. In March 2025, she proudly expanded her vision with the opening of Waldron Eyecare Wellness & Style, a full-service private practice dedicated to elevating eye health, wellness, and fashion.
